‘I Want To Love You Till Your Dying Day’ Is The Yuri Dark Fantasy Anime We’ve Been Waiting For

Based on the original manga by Nachi Aono, the series follows two orphaned roommates: Sheena, who wishes to prevent harm, and Mimi a secret weapon who revels in death. The anime explores girls’ love in an action-packed dark fantasy world. As a fan of Magical Girl Madoka, I was always a little annoyed that they never explored the queer subtext more overtly. Now times have changed and yuri is a mainstream genre within the anime fandom. I hope fans of yuri and adventures get what they deserve from I Want to Love You Till Your Dying Day.
