‘The Experience’ To Support Peter David On Friday’s Show

The Experience began its existence during the pandemic lockdown in the hopes of recreating some of the thrill of original art collecting experienced at in-person conventions. And although it has continued that mission even after comic-cons resumed, it also carried on doing good work.

As the latest example, Friday’s original art show will be dedicated to ailing comic creator Peter David. The writer recently lost both his health insurance and Medicaid as he continues to battle the effects of a number of health issues, but the comics community has rallied around him with directo support. In the case of The Experience, a portion of the night’s proceeds going to David’s GoFundMe campaign. While a number of pages and covers will be on offer from the likes of Mark Bagley, Jae Lee, John Romita Jr., and more, one item will be of particularly interest to fans of the writer’s time on The Incredible Hulk — page 9 from issue #371 as drawn by Dale Keown and Bob McLeod. Previously sold at Heritage Auctions for $5,520, it can be seen below:
