The God Of Thunder Battles The God Of … Zilla In July’s ‘Godzilla Vs. Thor’

Marvel Comics and Toho’s Godzilla versus the Marvel universe one shots have had some thunderous showdowns announced, but they saved the best for last in Godzilla Vs. Thor!
Coming in July, superstars Jason Aaron and Aaron Kuder bring Thor face to face with the King of Monsters when the ninja cult the Hand entraps the Kaiju and bestows him with the power of the Beast. Now Thor must defend Midgard against the most powerful manifestation of Godzilla that’s ever existed!
“There are almost as many toy kaiju in my office as there are Mjolnirs, which is really saying something, so it made sense for me to bring two of my favorite characters together for one titanic clash,” Aaron shared. “Aaron Kuder and I are using the Godzilla from Giant Monsters All-Out Attack, one of the most brutal and powerful versions of the King of the Monsters, so expect a colossal battle that I think will rival some of the most epic, cosmic throwdowns I’ve ever written with the God of Thunder.”
This is the perfect ending to the Godzilla versus the Marvel Universe series. I do think there’s some room for a sequel series (I would not hate on an Iron Man, Venom or Ghost Rider story), but this series of six is just simply an iconic run with some legendary creators. Aaron seems to be playing with this story as a culmination of all his Marvel work as well, which could be a lot of fun.
