From the Arcane Season 2 soundtrack, “Ma Meilleure Ennemie” is a song that explores that forbidden love between Jinx and Ekko. Studio Fortiche has really been spoiling us lately. Not only did they deliver a legendary season 2 of Arcane, we also got a look at Mel’s journey in Welcome to Noxus. This music video is a valentine to the romantic paring of Jinx and Ekko, that fans lovingly nicknamed “Time Bomb.”
What’s so great, is that this video, exists as pure artistic expression. Arcane is already one of the most successful animated shows of all time, it doesn’t need more promo-videos. “Ma Meilleure Ennemie” simply exists to celebrate these beautifully broken characters. I hope that fans of Fortiche’s work on Arcane will continue to support their next animated adventure: Penelope of Sparta.
