Dark Horse Comics Announces ‘Hellboy In Love’ For Late Summer 2025

Love is in the air for our pal Hellboy and archaeologist Anastasia Bransfield in the newest chapter of Mike Mignola and Cristopher Golden‘s ever expanding story of Anung Un Rama.
Hellboy in Love: The Art of Fire is set to be a two-issue comic event drawn and colored by the Alex Nieto and lettered by Clem Robins. The new tale will feature Hellboy and Anastasia heading to Iceland on another whirlwind adventure.
We know from other offerings in the Hellboy universe that Anastasia was the woman that Hellboy loved so much he almost left the B.P.R.D., so having the two featured in these romance adventure stories makes a ton of sense. With the two authors who know them the best this series is sure to be a fun ride.
“We’re having so much damn fun with this series,” says writer Christopher Golden. “Sending Hellboy on these romantic adventures with Anastasia fills in a vital missing era of his life, but Anastasia’s own research is also illuminating some key elements of the Mignolaverse’s ancient history.”
I know I love more Hellboy lore, so that quote alone has me excited! Hellboy in Love: The Art of Fire #1 is due to hit shelves on August 6, 2025
