That a “remaster” of Bethesda’s beloved The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion existed was one of the worst kept secrets in gaming, with discussion of the title going back for months. Fortunately, fans don’t have to wait any longer, as Bethesda and its partner studio Virtuous have announced and released The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered.

The title comes with improved graphics as the game is now running on Unreal Engine 5, but also features a variety of gameplay improvements ranging from combat to the game’s leveling system.  Fortunately, it’s also the Complete version of the game, including both the “Shivering Isles” and “Knights of the Nine” expansions, along with the other downloadable content from the original game.

Players can get the game now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Steam, and the Microsoft Store for $49.99, or get it on Xbox Game Pass.
