‘Lost Fantasy’ #1 And ‘We’re Taking Everyone Down With Us’ #1 And #2 Get Subsequent Printings After Selling Out
by Olly MacNamee
Image Comics really needs to consider upping its orders for new comic books. This week’s news has been dominated by Image Comics’ selling out left, right and centre. And again today, we get news that not one, not two, but three issues are getting reprints after selling out at that all-important distribution level.

First up we have Lost Fantasy #1 by writer Curt Pires (Indigo Children) and artist Luca Casalanguida (Money) with a new Final Fantasy VII homage cover by artist Alex Diotto and including the backup story, Indigo Children: Exodus, that continues Pires’ sci-fi series Indigo Children:
“In Lost Fantasy, there’s a magical world that lies beneath ours, and first contact was made over a hundred years ago between the two worlds due to a natural disaster, resulting in a schism that allowed monsters to break through. Since then, secret monster slayers, known as The Great Hunters, have been working with global leaders to police the border and to keep our world safe from the creatures that lurk in the shadows. But last night, something broke through, resulting in a mysterious mass killing in Montana, and causing things to shift in a way that will ripple through both worlds. Now it’s up to rookie monster hunter Henry Blackheart to stop it…”
Lost Fantasy #1 second printing is out on Wednesday, May 28th, with a Final Order Cutoff deadline for retailers on Monday, May 5th.
Next up, We’re Taking Everyone Down With Us #1 and #2 by Matthew Rosenberg (4 Kids Walk Into A Bank) and artist Stefano Landini (Daredevil, Prodigy). The debut issue is getting a third printing, while the sophomore issue gets a second. Here’s this series’ synopsis:
“We’re Taking Everyone Down With Us follows 13-year-old Annalise who’s left all alone in the world after her mad-scientist father is killed by the world’s greatest spy. Now, alongside her dead dad’s robot bodyguard, Annalise has a choice: try to lead a normal life for the first time ever…or seek revenge and maybe overthrow the world order in the process.”
We’re Taking Everyone Down With Us #1, third printing and We’re Taking Everyone Down With Us #2, second printing will both be out on Wednesday, May 28th from Image Comics.
