Webcomic Weekly: Krent Able’s ‘The Incredible Adventures of America’

Once more into the wonderful world of online comics with something very Krent Able and his The Incredible Adventures Of America…

Yes, the admittedly ridiculously named Webcomic Weekly rumbles on, the very epitome of not being weekly. But the webcomic bit, the giving you something cool to look at, for free, online, that’s still here.

Today, it’s Krent Able, being his very best Krent Abl,e with the short piece The Incredible Adventures Of America. If that title piece above hasn’t already warned you, let’s just say he’s not the biggest fan.

Now, if you know of Krent’s work, you’ll know he’s all about pushing things to the extreme and beyond, rude, crude, scatological even. But also damn good and damn funny.

I first saw his work in The Stool Pigeon music magazine back in maybe 2010/11, only a year or so into his career and was mighty impressed. That was all collected in in Krent Able’s Big Book Of Mischief, published by Knockabout in 2012. There has since been a second collection, The Second Coming of Krent Able, published in 2018. He’s curated two anthologies from SelfMadeHero, I Feel Machine and I Feel Love, and collaborated with Shaky Kane on the anthology Kane & Able for Image Comics. He’s one of those great comic artists we’ve partially lost to the world of way better-paying storyboarding work, with credits at loads of big names.

But new comics come out from him time to time, just like this one, and it’s always a pleasure to show them to you.
