Elementa And Silver Studio Invite Us To The Victorian-Era World Of ‘Silver Palace’

by Sage Ashford

As Genshin Impact continues to be one of the most popular games around, it’s not surprising to see more clones pop up, even as they work overtime to differentiate themselves. That’s where publisher Elementa and developer Silver Studio come in with their new open-world action RPG, Silver Palace.

While it looks similar to Genshin on first glance, the new title aims to differentiate itself in a number of ways. To start, it takes place in a Victorian-themed metropolis entitled Silvernia. There, players become the “Detective” and begin working to discover the answers behind some of the dark mysteries underneath the city’s beautiful veneer.

On top of the initial “Golden Age of Detectives” trailer, there is also an eleven minute gameplay preview demonstrating more of what helps Silver Palace stand out. The combat seems to be more combo-based than Genshin, with a parry system and special QTE combos mixed in.  Also: players get their own flying horse … that has drift?

Silver Palace certainly has potential, but it doesn’t have a release date just yet. Still, it’s confirmed to launch on PC, consoles, Android, and iOS. Players can pre-register now at Silver Palace‘s home page.
