The King Of Monsters Meets The King In Black In ‘Godzilla Destroys The Marvel Universe’ #2 Cover Reveal
by Tony Thornley
Following the decade by decade event currently rampaging through the Marvel Universe, Godzilla is going to be broadening his impact. In Godzilla Destroys The Marvel Universe #2, the king of monsters is about to become even bigger and scarier.

Coming from superstars Gerry Duggan, Javier Garron, and Paco Medina, the second issue of the five issue event finds Godzilla merging with the Venom symbiote to form an even more powerful- and scary- kaiju, as revealed on the main cover by Mark Brooks.
As the King of the Monsters sets about making mincemeat out of Manhattan, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes find reinforcements in the most unlikely of places – the villainous patrons of the Bar with No Name! Will their combined efforts be enough to slow Godzilla down – or are they merely adding fuel to the fire as the Venom Symbiote discovers an even more enticing apex predator to latch onto? Plus, Black Panther makes a shocking discovery about the nature of Vibranium and what is driving Godzilla’s rampage! But will it be enough to make a difference in the wake of the disappearance of Mister Fantastic, the Invisible Woman and the entire Baxter Building?!
Check out Brooks’ cover, as well as variants from Andrea Sorrentino, Stonehouse, John Tyler Christopher, and Dave Wachter, and watch from Godzilla Destroys The Marvel Universe #2 in August from Marvel Comics.
