Gallery Nucleus hosted an art exhibition and Q and A session in honor of Arcane. The panel moderated by Katcy Stephen included Christian Linke, Barthelemy Maunoury, and Amanda Overton. The panelists discussed the challenges and successes of Arcane seasons 1 and 2. We learn more about the nuances of the characters and the fabulous artwork of the show. We also discover how the love scene between Vi and Caitlyn made Netflix history!
And as a bonus surprise, Overton was invited to speak on the Fan-Discord devoted to Vi and Caitlyn. It’s a great conversation that discusses this beloved couple and Amanda’s personal journey as a Queer creator. Arcane is one of most visually spectacular animated shows ever made– but the personal impact the characters have made on the audience is the greatest triumph of all.
