Now, we’ll end this week with some of the best ads I’ve ever seen for any comic – these stunning Watchmen ads with art (of course) by Dave Gibbons. At the time these came out they were unlike anything else we’d seen before, really building up expectation for a book that amazed. The ads featured all new Gibbons art and a character quote that didn’t appear in the book. A real impressive thing…
