Co-creator/writer Robert Kirkman and co-creator/artist Ryan Ottley were almost lost for words in the accompanying statements. But not lost of humour:
“So cool! Third printing, this is crazy!” – Robert Kirkman.
“So cool! Third printing, this is crazy!” – Ryan Ottley.
We’ll elave it to executive editor Ben Abernathy to bring about of order to proceedings:
“Going to a third printing in barely a month since its debut is absolutely insane. The demand for this series clearly rivals Battle Beast’s desire for death!”
For those who don’t know the series’ premise, or even who Battle Beast might here’s a great summary:
“Cursed with an unquenchable thirst for violence that threatens those he loves, Battle Beast searches the universe for the one warrior mightier than him… so that he may die before harming anyone else. But even in a universe of mighty Viltrumites like Invincible and Omni-Man, it seems that no one may be able to stop the galaxy’s deadliest warrior…unless he does the unthinkable.”
Invincible Universe: Battle Beast #1 Third Printing is out on Wednesday, July 9th, 2025, with a main cover by Tom Reilly.
