Dynamite Pits Vampi Against A Serial Killer In ‘Vampirella Halloween Horror’

Vampi is getting into the Halloween spirit this Fall.

Dynamite announced Tuesday the upcoming Vampirella Halloween Horror special for September. Written by Liam Johnson with art from Jordan Michael Johnson, a killer stalks the Big Apple and Vampi is none-too-pleased to have a predator of this stripe in her home turf. Especially one with a supernatural element to its methods. Now, it’s up to the Daughter of Drakulon to ascertain the murderer’s real identity. But will the investigation lead her to question her own powers and motives?

Supporting the special are four covers from Greg Land; Celina; cosplayer Joanie Brosas; and Buzz, who who drew Vampi’s adventures in the mid-1990s and returns with an homage to Frank Frazetta‘s first Vampirella cover.

Vampirella Halloween Horror is due in shops this September.
