Fanhome Summons The Lich King Himself With Their Newest Subscription Offering
by Anton Kromoff
Welcome to the table,
I remember my first climb up the front steps of Icecrown Citadel. I don’t know what led me there. It’s been so long now. I honestly don’t know if I was being carried by a party of more competent players who had told me I could tag along while they were on their alts running for loot, or if I was there with an actual raiding group who were as unskilled as I was. I don’t remember the fights. I have run through so many fights with other groups and soloed countless times while watching movies at 3 am for X-mogs.

That first walk up those steps, though. They felt so important at the time. They felt like I was on the verge of greatness, of closing the book on an evil entity who had harrowed me since I wandered the haunted halls of Undercity and learned of the bell and the boy who would grow to be the Lich King himself. It was one of those moments in gaming that has forever left its mark, even if I can recall little else about what happened … that walk up those entrance steps hitting spacebar every few seconds so my toon jumped gleefully up alongside the other players I was about to have this experience with was nothing short of magical.
That is the power of a good villain, and Arthas, the Lich King, lord of Icecrown Citadel, was … is … a villain worth remembering.

Fanhome has captured that memory in their most ambitious release yet, a fully buildable model of the legendary Lich King, complete with the epic cursed sword Frostmourne. Coming in at nearly two feet tall, the model is set to feature articulated limbs, a movable head, and an LED-enhanced Helm of Domination.
Each monthly package of this subscription will not only come with buildable components to this iconic entity that has plagued millions of players worldwide, but you will also get an illustrated booklet filled with lore, artwork, and stories from the history of World of Warcraft to enjoy at your leisure.

Fanhome is also offering a premium option of this subscription that comes with a custom display base with built-in light effects, 3 full-color art prints, a ceramic mug, a Lich King t-shirt, and a custom World of Warcraft baseball cap.
As someone who wore a Question Mark Quest Giver black baseball cap for years, the idea of a free WoW cap delights me to no end.
Pre-orders for this magnificent model are currently open if you are interested, so head on over to link and… if I may be so bold, “Face now your tragic end!”
Until next time, I have soloed Lich King hundreds of times, and every time it was fun. It has been two expansions since I last logged in, as life is so wildly busy with work and such, but even though my hotkeys go unclicked, a statue of Vol’jin and a statue of Saurfang watch over my office in the shadow of one of my bookshelves. Forever and always, For the Hoard.
