It was one of those moments in gaming that has forever left its mark, even if I can recall little else about what happened … that walk up those entrance steps hitting spacebar every few seconds so my toon jumped gleefully up alongside the other players I was about to have this experience with was nothing short of magical.

That is the power of a good villain, and Arthas, the Lich King, lord of Icecrown Citadel, was … is … a villain worth remembering.
