Opinion: 2025 Will Be The Greatest Year For Auteur Films

2025 is a year of an unprecedented tidal-wave of auteur-driven films. Wes Anderson, Guillermo del Toro, Darren Aronofsky, Edgar Wright, Genndy Tartakovsky, and Yorgos Lanthimos are all coming out with new films this year. Some movies on the list are already out and some have yet to come. In any case, these are the films that should be on your radar:
Yorgos Lanthimos’ Bugonia
Two conspiracy-obsessed young men kidnap the high-powered CEO of a major company, convinced that she is an alien intent on destroying planet Earth.
Wes Anderson’s The Phoenician Scheme
