SDCC 2025: ‘Red Sonja’ Film Panel Finds Moderator And More Guests

Celebrate the return of Red Sonja to the screen at Comic-Con International: San Diego.
The long awaited return of the She-Devil with a sword to the big screen will be the focus of a panel at SDCC next week featuring stars Matilda Lutz, Robert Sheehan, and Martyn Ford, producer Mark Canton and, of course, Luke Lieberman. But on Thursday, Dynamite revealed additional panelists: star Wallis Day and Dynamite CEO Nick Barrucci, who also serves as an executive producer on the film. The whole thing will be moderated by Felicia Day, another redhead familiar to comic con audiences.
During the hour, the group will discuss the making of the film, the inclusion of Annisa — a character who debuted in Gail Simone‘s Red Sonja run — in the film, and more. And one member of the audience will walk away with a truly amazing prize: a prop sword from the film poster. Others will receive a goody while supplies last.
The Red Sonja film panel takes place on Thursday, July 24th, at 5:30pm PT in Ballroom 20. The film arrives in theaters August 15th and digital platforms August 29th.
