Hector Plasm Returns In ‘Hector Plasm: Hunt The Bigfoot’ From Image Comics
by Olly MacNamee
Writer Benito Cereno is bringing his character Hector Plasm — co-created with artist Nate Bellegarde back with a new three-issue series from Image Comics. With art by Derek Hunter, Hector Plasm: Hunt the Bigfoot sees this popular ghostbuster return to seek Bigfoot and will come with cover art from Bellegarde, Hunter, Tom Fowler, and Ryan Ottley with The Walking Dead series colourist Dave McCaig.

Hector Plasm debuted as a back-up strip in Robert Kirkman’s Invincible series, but this is his first solo adventure. Here’s what to expect:
“Hector Plasm has faced all sorts of unquiet spirits in his travels, but a series of murders in a Pacific Northwest town leads him to confront a creature more solid than usual: Bigfoot! Can Hector track down a beast that doesn’t want to be found, clear his own name, and save a struggling local business at the same time?”
Cereno added:
“Of all of my character co-creations, the one I’ve been aching to get back to for the longest time is Hector Plasm, whose stories are the outlet for my love of ghost stories, folklore, and weird fiction. The Hector stories I created with Nate Bellegarde are some of the best-loved things I’ve ever done, so I’m incredibly excited to be able to team up with Derek and bring all new Hector adventures into the world.”
