‘Marvel Contest Of Champions’ Hosts Real World And In-Game Events Including Dimensional Arcade: Doom Cycle

Marvel Contest of Champions has a series of both real-world and in-game events to continue its celebration of the upcoming film The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Hopefully, by taking this approach, players can participate in some way.
During July 24th-25th from 6:30 PM – 7:15 Pm, Marvel Contest of Champions will host special fan events at the El Capitan Theater before screenings of the latest Marvel Cinematic Universe film. There will be multiple gaming demo stations of the popular mobile brawler including hands-on gameplay of a special Fantastic Four quest challenge where the superhero team battles the Silver Surfer. Those who can finish the challenge and defeat the Silver Surfer will receive an exclusive H.E.R.B.I.E. pin from the game.
For those who can’t make it to Hollywood for the in-person event, there is the brand-new limited-time game mode ‘Dimensional Arcade: Doom Cycle’. The Dimensional Arcade is a unique portal to experience new modes and gameplay.
The first story from the Dimensional Arcade is titled ‘Doom Cycle’. Follow the Fantastic Four while they investigate a large number of Doombots in their Battlerealm. Players will navigate new challenges that require new strategies and tactics as Marvel’s First Family faces down multiple enemies at the same time. The mode also has a new casual autoplay experience and a separate Energy Resource, as well as unique environments, music, art, and other surprises. It’s an entirely new experience, and it’s only available for a limited time beginning July 24.
Another in-game event is the previously mentioned Squad Builder limited-time side quest that runs until August 6.
