Marvel Reveals Final Three ‘Deadpool/Batman’ Covers And First Story Pages

by Tony Thornley

Since Deadpool/Batman was announced, Marvel has revealed probably more covers than any other single issue has received in years. Now, the final three have been revealed, as well as the first story pages.

The September-debuting issue from Zeb Wells and Greg Capullo will see the Merc with the Mouth coming to Gotham City and coming face to face with the Caped Crusader. It’s absolutely the worst time for Deadpool to interrupt Batman though. Not that he ever has good timing. In the new pages, it looks like the team-up is going exactly as well as you’d expect.

The newly revealed covers start with Esad Ribic’s depiction of the titular pair. Then J. Scott Campbell finds Psylocke and the Huntress coming face to face, and Pepe Larraz gets to show what happens when Rogue brawls with Poison Ivy.

On top of the title bout, the issue will feature back-ups full of new team-ups and fights, and Marvel has released pages from Kevin Smith and Adam Kubert’s Green Arrow/Daredevil team-up, and the first meeting of Jeff the Land Shark and Krypto the Superdog from Kelly Thompson and Gurihiru.
