Peter Parker Dons The Technarachnid In ‘Amazing Spider-Man’ #11 First Look

Peter Parker’s intergalactic adventure is about to begin in September, and in Amazing Spider-Man #11 (the landmark legacy #975) he dons his craziest variant suit yet.
Joe Kelly, Pepe Larraz and John Romita Jr kick off the next far-out chapter in Peter Parker’s life with this landmark issue. The story will find him teaming up with new intergalactic allies (including one very familiar spacebound trash panda), fighting off alien foes and donning a new suit- the Technarachnid!
I love Spidey stories that take Peter out of his element, and he’s had surprisingly few cosmic stories (especially solo). On top of that Larraz’s new entry into the canon of alternate Spidey suits has a very familiar pattern and color that might hint at its origin. Yes, it looks like the X-Men’s Warlock and his species the Technarch — but that’s just a guess.
From Marvel’s solicit: The preview for Amazing Spider-Man #11 opens with our hero in a spaceship, facing off against Xanto Starblood. As he brawls with the alien warrior, Spider-Man puts his techno-organic garments to the test, unleashing new abilities on his foe. Meanwhile, back on Earth, another Spider-Man donning the classic red and blue attempts to deliver justice in his own unjust way… It’s a tale of two Spider-Men that you won’t want to miss!
