Review — WizKids Unleashes Their ‘Black Dracolich’ In Two Terrifying Variants

by Anton Kromoff

Welcome to the table,

Check this out…

These Black Dracolich minis are incredible. I’m planning on starting work on the unpainted variant this weekend, and with any luck, I will have it finished in a few weeks. I love that there are options, though. There are the unpainted for those of us who want to paint and the pre-painted for those of us who want a rad looking Dracolich but don’t have the paint, time, tools, or, if you are anything like me, sometimes a steady hand to paint these little plastic wonders.

The detail in both the unpainted and pre-painted versions is astonishing, and the semi-transparent material that is used in these minis, especially the painted one, just elevates the whole thing to the next level.

I’m always super grateful when my pals at WizKids send me stuff to check out, but these two deadly dragons are easily some of my favorite miniatures they have put out in recent months. I can’t wait to unleash them at the table on my unsuspecting players.

Until next time, you can pre-order the pre-painted at this link and the unpainted at this link.
