Marvel Debuts True Believers Blind Bag Variants With ‘Ultimate Endgame’ #1

Ultimate Endgame promises to be one of the biggest events Marvel Comics has published in a very long time. That means it’s the perfect time to debut a special variant cover program, which reads like a pretty fun gimmick.
From Deniz Camp and Jonas Scharf, Ultimate Endgame is the culmination of the last two years worth of stories the new Ultimate Marvel Universe. The series will see the devious Maker unleashed from his timelock prison. What this master manipulator will find though is an army of unique heroes, the makings for a war unlike any seen in the Marvel multiverse.
Meanwhile, the series will see the debut of the True Believers blind bag program. The program sees a series of special variant covers which can only be found in these blind bags. While Marvel revealed many in the press release, there will be some that even the publisher itself won’t reveal until the issue is on stands, leaving fans to announce their discoveries.
Let’s be real, this is a gimmick. But in the scale of embossed chromium covers to holograms, this one is actually kind of fun. And from the previews, all the covers are worth picking up.
The covers announced so far come from artists Mark Brooks, Chip Zdarsky, Derrick Chew, Skottie Young, Cafu, Sanford Greene, Alexander Lozano, Peach Momoko, Dan Panosian, and Ryan Stegman. That’s not even including the special mystery variants from the unannounced artists.
