Check Out The Pilot For The Workplace Comedy ‘The Comic Shop’

Created by Cheyenne Ewulu, The Comic Shop is a workplace comedy about a quirky crew of friends who will do what they can to keep their Los Angeles comic store afloat by any ridiculous means necessary. The pilot for the potential series was funded by a wildly successful Kickstarter campaign. The Comic Shop has a similar sense of humor and pacing to The Office. Thankfully, this isn’t a cringey depiction of comic nerds as in The Big Bang Theory. If this does well online there’s a chance it could get picked up by TV or a streaming service.
