New Era, New Creative Team: ‘Transformers’ #25 First Look From Robert Kirkman And Dan Mora
by Olly MacNamee
Transformers #25 ushers in a new era and a new creative team from Skybound/Image Comics, and toy company Hasbro. Coming on board are writer Robert Kirkman and artist Dan Mora (Justice League Unlimited, Superman), who are both pretty big names in the world of comics. The Energon Universe has been a spectacular success, and with both Kirkman and Mora on this flagship title, I can only imagine that this will only add to fan interest in the franchise.
This milestone issue will also feature a story about the future of the Decepticons from Kirkman and departing series artist Jorge Corona.

“The Energon Universe will never be the same as the Autobots and Decepticons begin the most surprising new chapter in their war on Earth.
Optimus Prime and the remaining Autobots must join forces with unlikely allies in order to protect their adopted planet. But Prime’s next challenge lies closer to home than he ever imagined. And what is the fate of the Decepticons?”
As well as the main cover by David Nakayama, there will be a 1:10 incentive connecting cover variant by Corona featuring a different Transformer, running through this new story arc.
