First Look At ‘DC K.O.: Knightfall’ #1 From DC Comics
by Olly MacNamee
DC K.O.: Knightfall #1 is released on Wednesday, 5th November, and we get a first look to share with you all today. It is written by Joshua Williamson with art by Dan Mora, pitting the Dark Knight of today with the Batmen of the future. Something Williamson is relishing, as he said to DC Nation:

“In the past, Bruce has often questioned his role as Batman, and whether the sidekicks he’s trained might one day surpass him. Now, he gets to see that play out firsthand.
I also love throwing Batman into wild, unexpected battles, facing off against opponents he’d never normally encounter. Once he realizes what’s really going on, he can finally cut loose.”
Discussing how this book ties in with the main event, DC K.O., Williamson added:
“When you talk about an event like DC K.O., the assumption is always: “Batman’s going to win.” So we wanted to subvert that expectation right away, by forcing him down a completely different path, into a tournament built just for him.
It also showcases the true power of the Heart of Apokolips, how it can manipulate and reshape anyone who comes near it. That’s going to become a major factor as the event unfolds.”
