Peach Momoko’s Psylocke Returns In January’s ‘Sai: Dimensional Rivals’
by Tony Thornley
Psylocke is one of the most popular X-Men, and has inspired multiple variations across Marvel canon. In January, one of the most recent crashes the Marvel Multiverse in Sai: Dimensional Rivals.
Sai is a psychic warrior inspired by Psylocke that first appeared in X-Men: Demon Days by Peach Momoko and directly inspired the version of Psylocke seen in the smash hit video game Marvel Rivals. Now Momoko returns to her signature character and sends her on a multiversal quest to gather a unique set of Infinity Stones. Not only that, but Momoko will be joined in the five issue miniseries by comics superstars like Stan Sakai, Esad Ribić, Natacha Bustos, Mike del Mundo, Sara Pichelli and many more.

“I’m happy to start a new comic about Sai with artists I’ve met at comic events and through work and now consider friends,” Momoko shared. “For this series, Sai will be the main character. I asked various artists to have fun depicting Sai in their own unique vision. Sai will be traveling between different universes and having different experiences based on each artist’s own perspectives. I think it will be a wonderful collaboration and I hope everyone enjoys Sai’s new charm!”
