‘Deadpool/Batman’ Gets A Third Printing & A New Cover
by Tony Thornley
It goes without saying that fans were chomping at the bit for a new Marvel/DC crossover. Deadpool/Batman was a massive hit, and now the issue is getting a third printing and a new variant cover from superstar Adam Kubert.

Out on December 10th, Kubert’s new cover shows the Dark Knight and the Merc with a Mouth in a moment of action. It looks like they might be avoiding some laser guns, or maybe just really bright spotlights. Who knows, Batman hates both.
In addition to Kubert’s cover, the third printing will also feature virgin variants of both Russell Dauterman and Esad Ribic’s variants from the first print. Dauterman’s cover was probably my personal favorite of all the covers, and while I don’t often pick up multiple copies of an issue, this might be an exception.

From Marvel’s announcement of the printing:
Deadpool and Batman cross swords and batarangs as Marvel and DC unite for the first time in decades! Wade Wilson has been hired for a job in Gotham City, but will the World’s Greatest Detective help him or destroy him? Find out in an epic adventure by prolific Spider-Man comics writer and co-writer for Marvel Studios’ Deadpool & Wolverine Zeb Wells and industry superstar Greg Capullo, an artist with an incredible legacy at both legendary comic book companies, with influential work on Batman and X-Men titles. Then, experience other exciting Marvel and DC team-ups from a lineup of all-star talent, including Daredevil and Green Arrow by Kevin Smith and Adam Kubert, Captain America and Wonder Woman by Chip Zdarsky and Terry Dodson, Jeff the Land Shark and Krypto by Kelly Thompson and Gurihiru, Rocket Raccoon and Green Lantern by Al Ewing and Dike Ruan, and Old Man Logan and Batman from ‘The Dark Knight Returns’ by Frank Miller!
