In February, It’s Jeff Meets Daredevil hits shelves, teaming up Jeff The Landshark with Matt Murdock in perhaps the most unexpected Marvel Comics team-up of the year. Jeff’s longtime creators, Kelly Thompson and Gurihiru, are behind this special one-shot, collecting the latest season of Jeff’s long-running Infinity Comic.
When Jeff visits Hell’s Kitchen, he learns a lesson in courage from the Man without Fear himself, Daredevil! Additionally, he bounces around the Marvel Universe on other adventures, from visiting the groomer to his biggest challenge yet- taking on the Hulk!
On what inspired the team up, Thompson shared, “Some people might think Hell’s Kitchen rooftops and the darker side of Marvel’s street level crime fighting aren’t a great fit for Jeff, but we say, Jeff goes everywhere. And sometimes that’s the challenge — how do we bend Jeff into fit worlds that aren’t so obvious — and how much can Gurhiru and I bend Daredevil to fit to Jeff. It’s an adventure, and thanks to Jeff’s endless charisma, it’s pretty much always a fun one.”
