ICYMI: ‘The Boys’ Season 5 Teaser Preps For One Last Go

Released during CCXP in Brazil over the weekend, The Boys Season 5 teaser gives us a glimpse of what Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) calls “one last go.” Could it be lethal to our main set of characters? Take a look for yourself:
Soundtracked by a cover of Styx’s “Renegade”, the Supernatural vibe continues thanks to a glimpse of Jared Padalacki‘s character meeting Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles) while other characters find themselves in some sort of prison camp and Homelander (Antony Starr) slugs someone. Is it Butcher? Readers of the original comic know not every member of the Boys makes it out alive, but will the show follow suit?
Meanwhile, what of the Gen V characters Annie (Erin Moriarty) took under her wing at the end of that show’s second season? Time will tell, we suppose, as Amazon isn’t done with The Boys‘ world even if the tale of Homelander and Butcher reaches its end.
