“Within Blood Squad Seven Yearbook’s extra-length, brain-breaking conclusion to this international — and interdimensional –storyline … secrets will be revealed! Worlds will collide! Heroes will struggle! Legends will die! And things — both past and present — will never be the same!”

This follows on from the series, described as exploring “’90s superteam dynamics through a contemporary lens,” as Casey explains:

“Paul and I have been building up to this for the previous 13 consecutive issues, all leading to this 30-page Yearbook spectacular. We’ve put everything we have into this one and we think the results will speak for themselves. For every reader who loves their 1990s-style superheroes deconstructed and deepened in the way you’ve always wanted — this is the big one!”

The previous Blood Squad Seven series’ tone and influences can best be summarised in this statement:

“While deconstructions of superhero nostalgia typically center around the classic characters of the Silver Age, Blood Squad Seven delves deep into ’90s comic book themes with this reimagining of what would happen if heroes from that decade returned to action after a 30-year absence.”

Blood Squad Seven Yearbook #1 is out on Wednesday, March 25th, 2026 with the following two covers:
