Dropout Drops A Post-Apocalyptic Trailer For New ‘Dimension 20: Gladlands’

Dropout — arguably the streaming service that makes me laugh the most — just dropped the trailer for the new season of their actual play series, Dimension 20. The new season, “Gladlands”, is set to premiere January 7th with episodes dropping every Wednesday for six weeks. Each episode will be accompanied by an in-dome Adventuring Party talkback, released the following day.
It looks like this season is some kind of Brennan Lee Mulligan brainchild mashing up a Mad Max dystopian future with the power of friendship and love … and possibly mail couriers?
We can always count on Dimension 20 to give us something unexpected, and I’m pretty stoked with the tone and themes of this one from what I have seen so far.
The game will be led by Mulligan, serving as the game master of the fallen-future festivities. Additionally, we are seeing Vic Michaelis and Kimia Behpoornia joining Ally Beardsley, Oscar Montoya, Zac Oyama, and Jacob Wysocki, marking their first time in the dome.
If I know anything, the social commentary is going to be in full effect as the “Dusty Do-Gooders” adventure alongside the Joy Rig on whatever madcap adventure this is going to be.
Until next time, these shorter-run series are a ton of fun, and it’s going to be cool to see some new players at the table. I am super stoked for this one and can’t wait to show you more as we learn about the series!
