First Two Issues Of Rob Liefeld’s ‘Youngblood’ Sell Out And Get Subsequent Reprints
by Olly MacNamee
People love Rob Liefeld‘s Youngblood. And while it was never my cup of tea, there’s no denying its success with both Youngblood #1 and Youngblood #2, both selling out. And the second issue only dropped yesterday!

For the debut issue, this will be its third printing, while Youngblood #2 gets a second printing. Both have sold out at the distribution level.
Here’s ever-enthusiastic Liefeld on this success:
“I cannot express the full appreciation I have to everyone who jumped back into the deep end of the Youngblood pool with me. There’s room in the tent for fans young and old! We are committed to making this reader friendly, entry level storyline in print as long as demand persists! Deep gratitude for the continued support!”

With its subpar writing and bombastic artwork, it really is like a slice of the ’90s, minus the delays between issues. And for anyone who still wants to get in on the action, Youngblood #1 third printing and Youngblood #2 second printing will both be out on Wednesday, January 28th, 2026 from Image Comics wth the following covers:
- Youngblood (2025) #1 third printing Cover A by Liefeld
- Youngblood (2025) #1 third printing Cover B by Liefeld
