Exclusive — Raremarq Expands Auctions To Include CGC-Graded Comic Books
by Tom Smithyman
Online auction site Raremarq is expanding its offering to include graded comic book slabs with a direct connection to CGC’s census data.![]()
Using that connection, Raremarq users will be able to enter the CGC certification number to instantly share their collection. Listing details are then automatically populated directly from CGC, which will streamline the selling process and provide collectors with accurate information directly from the grading company.
“We’re always looking for ways to make life easier for both buyers and sellers, and our community has loved our existing partnership with CGC to grade and authenticate items bought on Raremarq,” said Chris Tung, Raremarq’s CEO. “With our newest CGC integration, listings can be created in seconds, and buyers have direct access to CGC census data on Raremarq, so they can bid and buy with confidence.”![]()
Founded in 2024, Raremarq lists original art and other comics collectables, connecting artists and their representatives directly with fans. This move into graded slabs should significantly increase the site’s breadth and make it more of a destination for collectors.
To kick off the expansion, Raremarq is teaming up with Ronin Club Collectibles to offer some unique slabs through Saturday.
“We’re incredibly excited to partner with Raremarq for this event,” said Jon Bolerjack, owner of Ronin Club Collectibles. “Their new CGC integration makes creating graded comic listings fast, simple, and intuitive.”
