Jason Pearson’s ‘Body Bags’ Gets An Artist’s Edition From Skybound And Act 4 Publishing

Skybound, Image Comics, Scott Dunbier’s Act 4 Publishing and Keven Gardner’s 12-Gauge Comics have come together to announce the release of Jason Pearson’s Body Bags Artist’s Edition. A nostalgia-inducing return to the ’90s, when Pearson’s Body Bags comic was first released to critical acclaim. all reproduced in a 12”x17” oversized hardcover, with all the original art pages scanned in colour, to better enable the reader to see the work as close to the original as possible. Also included are scans of Michael Golden’s covers from the original Body Bags miniseries.
“Set in the near future, Body Bags focuses on an estranged father/daughter relationship, inside the world of bounty hunters and cold-blooded killers. Clownface and Panda’s story hit an emotional chord with many readers and has only grown in popularity since its release. “
Speaking of this new collection, honouring Pearson’s legacy, Dunbier stated:

Jason Pearson’s Body Bags Artist’s Edition is out in comic book shops on Wednesday, the 23rd of September, 2026, and in booksellers on Tuesday, the 20th of October, 2026.
