DC Comics Announces The Summer Of Supergirl, Kickstaring With A Superman Day Take Over

Similar to last year’s ‘Summer of Superman’, scheduled to align with James Gunn‘s Superman movie release, DC Comics has now announced a slate of comics under the umbrella title ‘Summer of Supergirl’, to coincide with the release of the new Supergirl film.
Planned to take off on the annual Superman Day on April 18th (the date Action Comics #1 was published), the Maid of Might takes over with a slate of comic books and graphics for all ages. As well as a good few starring Superman. After all, he still has some stake in the day.
So, we get a facsimile edition of Action Comics #252, the graphic novel Supergirl: Being Super by writer Mariko Tamaki and artist Joëlle Jones, a new deluxe hardcover edition of Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, the anthology Supergirl: The World and the Deluxe behind-the-scenes chronicle, From Comic to Screen: The Art of Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow and more.
