Sun Ra: Do The Impossible is a documentary that explores the extraordinary life of poet, philosopher and music visionary Sun Ra. He self-produced more than 200 albums of avant-garde music and is widely considered to be the Godfather of Afrofuturism. Sun Ra believed that every great society had a foundational mythology and created a unique one for Black People. Its underlying ethos was liberation through imagination. His artistic contributions remain as bizarre and relevant today as when they first debuted.
