Fans have a lot to look forward to in 2026. There will be new heroes, maps, costumes, game modes, player versus environments, and systems. However, one of the biggest takeaways is the game’s Path to Doomsday. As a tie-in with Marvel Studios, Marvel Rivals will release content related to the different Avengers films in the upcoming months. It all begins in April, which will feature elements from the first Avengers film. June features Avengers: Age of Ultron, August sees Avengers: Infinity War, October it’s Avengers: Endgame, and the 18th of December will feature Avengers: Doomsday. What a fun, synergistic way to help hype up all the movies culminating with one of the most anticipated releases this year.

Creative Director from NetEase Games, Guangguang teased what will be available in the Avengers content this April. There will be a new limited time specialty asymmetric 1vs6 mode. One player assumes the role of Loki, who will battle it out against six other hero characters. This Loki is “equipped with an all-new skill set combining deception, illusions, and powerful mind control ability.” Fortunately, the other heroes can fight back and summon Hulk after certain conditions are met to recreate iconic scenes from the film. They also shared a sneak peek at the new Loki skin.
If you can’t wait until April, there’s at least some new content arriving this week. The next two skins are Psylocke (Once-Captive Corsair) and Captain America (Cursed Captain).
