Skybound Celebrate Three Years Of The Energon Universe With Connective Cover Variants By Tom Reilly

Skybound, Image Comics, and Hasbro are commemorating the third anniversary of the Energon Universe with a series of connecting variant covers from Skybound-exclusive artist Tom Reilly (G.I. Joe) and colourist Adriano Lucas (Ghost Pepper) this June 2026. It’s easy to forget how much of a surprise reveal this was to fans with the publication of Void Rivals #1 from writer Robert Kirkman and artist Lorenzo De Felici, which ushered in a new era for both the Transformers and G.I. Joe, and now M.A.S.K., too.

The variants will be available for M.A.S.K. #1, Transformers #33, G.I. Joe #23, and Void Rivals #31. Below you get to see the covers and details of each issue’s release date:
