WonderCon 2026: DC Comics Announces Two New ‘DC K.O.’ Epilogues Coming This Summer

The current DC Comics initiatives are rolling smoothly along. It began with DC All In along with the creation of the Absolute Universe followed by the DC K.O. crossover event. This summer, marks a movement into the third phase, and at WonderCon 2026, the publisher announced two new books that will help ease that transition.
Arriving later this year is DC All In Saga: Darkseid vs. The World. The special is written by Scott Snyder with art from Sanford Greene. Snyder spoke a little about the title.
“So we’ve been planning a while like Darkseid is the big bad right, for the whole saga.” He added, it will “[h]ave really big revelations, where Darkseid is now post K.O. and where he’s headed for our big third arc which is coming in ’27, So it’s kind of a primer on Darkseid and it also catches you up to where he is and gives you a hint of what his giant plans are going into ’27. He’s only coming back bigger and badder. He kind of wanted to lose K.O. He’s kind of like testing them a little bit, like sparring to then be like, yeah, you’re totally screwed.”
In July, another DC K.O. epilogue will be released in the form as the special Superman 2026 Annual: Year One Thousand. It is written by Joshua Williamson and illustrated by Eddy Barrows. The story finds Superman traveling to the future to make repairs to the time line. It will tease up a lot of stuff planned in the future and include characters such as Kamandi and OMAC. Williamson also said, “But because [Superman’s] going in the future, we’re also going to be teasing and starting the Legion of Superheroes and what’s going on with that.“
