Image Comics Announces ‘Dust To Dust’: An New Serial Killer Thriller Graphic Novel Set In The Old West

by Olly MacNamee

JG Jones (writer and artist) and writer Phil Bram team up for an all-new western, serial killer thriller in the forthcoming graphic novel Dust to Dust from Image Comics. And we get a first look:

“As apocalyptic storms swallow the Oklahoma panhandle, the broken town of New Hope is gripped by a series of brutal murders. Sheriff Meadows, tormented by his past, joins forces with Sarah, a relentless photojournalist, to hunt a killer who moves like a ghost through the grime, leaving only bodies in his wake.

Yellowstone meets Cormac McCarthy’s Blood Meridian in this unique Hitchcockian-esque noir story featuring jaw-dropping interior art by Jones to pair with his co-writing chops.”

While newither creator was available for comment, Eric Stephenson, Publisher and Chief Creative Officer at Image Comics, was:

“If all you know about J.G. Jones is his cover work for Y: The Last Man or his star turn on Wanted, prepare to be amazed, impressed, bowled over—you name it. This is top flight storytelling from a comics master, and you need to have this on your bookshelf, your nightstand, your coffee table — wherever the great comics go in your household. High five, J.G.!”

Dust to Dust trade paperback is out in comic book stores on Wednesday, May 27th and booksellers on Tuesday, June 23rd, from Image Comics.
