Writer Shane Portman, artist Andy Alves, and Fanbase Press Editor-in-Chief Barbra Dillon join Brendan in the virtual panel room to discuss Shrub, a graphic medicine middle grade adventure hitting Kickstarter this summer. The quartet discusses how an unassuming anthropomorphic bush can be used to explore the many faces of grief, healing, and human connection.
Individual chapters of Shrub hit Hoopla and ComicsPlus on Wednesday June 10th, and the collected edition will be available via a Kickstarter campaign.
