Image Comics/Ghost Machine’s ‘The Trillion Dollar Kid’ #1 Sells Out On Day Of Release

As always, it is worth noting that whenever we get news that Image Comics (it’s usually them) have sold out of any issue, it’s at the distribution level. So, upon hearing the news that The Trillion Dollar Kid #1 by writers Geoff Johns (Geiger, Rook: Exodus) and Peter J. Tomasi (The Rocketfellers), artist Stefano Simeone (Radiant Black) and letterer Rob Leigh, has sold out, you could still well find a copy out there in the wild. Happy hunting. Meanwhile, I’m sharing the new cover for the second printing and a quick reminder about my review that dropped earlier today.

This new series is part of a bigger summer-long initiative, ‘The Unbelievables‘, that launched last month with Rocketfellers #0 and Hornsby & Halo #0, both serving as prologues to this crossover event. The Trillion Dollar Kid #1 is Part One, with Hornsby & Halo #14 (on sale Wednesday, 24th June) serving up Part Two, The Rocketfellers #13 (on sale Wednesday, 22nd July) adds Part Three, and the finale to the crossover happens in The Trillion Dollar Kid #2 (on sale Wednesday, 12th August). So, rather the compact event and not costing the Earth like some others.

Obviously, Johns has something to say about the success of this sell-out:
