The Fugitive Doctor Returns In ‘Doctor Who: Circuit Breaker’ #1 First Look From Titan Comics

by Olly MacNamee

Doctor Who may be stuck in limbo for now, but Titan Comics is still putting out comics featuring … well, in this case, The Fugitive Doctor, in a new series, Doctor Who: Circuit Breaker, written by Dan Watters and Dulce M. Montoya with art by Roberta Ingranata, Sami Kivelä, and Valentina Bianconi.

For those unaware of the Fugitive Doctor (Jo Martin), who made her TV debut in 2020’s “Fugitive of the Judoon”. She is The Doctor, just from some forgotten era in their past. She has gone on to feature in other episodes and in the comics. And is about to feature as the star of her own miniseries.

Described as part of a mixed-media event, this new comic book series sees The Fugitive Doctor travel across time and space into her deadliest conflict yet, “her first encounter with the Daleks!” A must for Doctor Who fans, I reckon.

The first chapter of Circuit Breaker launched last Thursday on the UNIT website, with Doctor Who: Circuit Breaker #1 out on Wednesday, 8th July from Titan Comics.
