SDCC 2026: Booher And Zucker Bring ‘Canto’’To San Diego Convention Center

Fresh off the announcement of Canto: The Clockwork Chronicles, Dark Horse Comics invites readers to celebrate the next chapter of the beloved all-ages fantasy series. Series co-creator/writer David M. Booher and co-creator/artist Drew Zucker will be available for fan interactions, autographs, and panels at San Diego Comic-Con 2026.

Multiple opportunities are available throughout the convention to rub elbows with the creative team behind the series, get signed copies of the Canto: The Clockwork Chronicles #1 ashcan, an exclusive print, and an exclusive Canto #1 reprint. Fans can even pose with Canto himself. 

Booher has built an acclaimed career across comics, television, and film. His work includes Killer Queens, Rain, and Canto, as well as stories for Ghostbusters, Dungeons & Dragons, Legendary’s Monsterverse, Disney’s Frozen, Avatar, and more. His LGBTQ-led sci-fi series Killer Queens was also recognized by The New York Times as a Pride Month must-read.

Zucker is the co-creator and artist of Canto, The House, and Skybreaker. A graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, Zucker has illustrated comics for Dark Horse Comics, Marvel, DC, IDW Publishing, and Legendary Comics. Following the 29-issue original Canto saga, he now returns to the beloved clockwork hero for Canto: The Clockwork Chronicles.
