At FanExpo Boston 2026, I had the opportunity to chat with artist Arthur Suydam about the legacy of Marvel Zombies. The roots of the concept began in the Ultimate Universe when the Ultimate Fantastic Four opened a gateway to a parallel Earth which had been overrun with zombies. Suydam gave his perspective on what made the comics successful and how Marvel Zombies paved the way for the juggernaut success of The Walking Dead and the 2010s zombie boom.
