Skybound Share A First Look At ‘Transformers’ #36

Skybound/Image Comics and collaborators Hasbro have shared a first look at Transformers #36, from writer Robert Kirkman (Invincible, Void Rivals), artist Jason Howard (The Astounding Wolf-Man), colourist Mike Spicer (Stillwater), and letterer Rus Wooton (Void Rivals). As ever, we get the briefest of plot lines and the briefest of previews. But we do get a good look at the various covers available for this issue, the finale of the current story arc, by artists David Nakayama, Daniel Warren Johnson & Mike Spicer, Jason Howard & Annalisa Leoni, and Homare. The issue will also preview the debut of the new Superion, as well.

Transformers #36 is out on Wednesday, 9th September 9, 2026, with the following covers:
