Disney ‘DuckTales’ Kickstarter Enters Its Final Week

The good people of Duckburg are counting on DuckTales fans to see this project across the finish line.
Funded in one minute when it went live, Dynamite’s DuckTales Kickstarter campaign has entered its final week. The project will reprint vintage material from as far back as 1988, starting with Coin of the Realm and the original 13-issue comic released alongside the classic animated series. William Van Horn, Daan Jippes, and artists from the Jaime Diaz Studio take the creative lead in this first of five volumes.
Scrooge’s Quest is the second volume and collects the Disney Comics stories of the early 1990s. Writer Marv Wolfman and artist Cosme Quartieri send Scrooge on the eponymous adventure while the tome also includes the seven-part follow-up, “Gold Odyssey.”
The third volume, Like A Hurricane, brings together tales published by Boom! Studios in the 2010s. Epic Mickey‘s Warren Spector writes a number of these stories, which includes a crossover with Darkwing Duck and his pals.
Money-Grubbing Hooligans from the Deep!, the fourth volume on offer, focuses on 2017 and the comics published to coincide with the more recent DuckTales animated series. It includes contributions from Joey Cavalieri, Joe Caramagna, and Ciro Cangialosi.
And finally, the fifth volume will collect Dynamite’s stories to date: Brandon Montclare and Tommaso Ronda‘s year-long stint on DuckTales and the DuckTales Valentine’s Day Special by Connor Ratliff, James III, and Carlo Lauro. The collected tome will be called Four Corners of Your World.
