Marvel Reveals A Look At The Midnight Universe In A New Trailer

Marvel Comics’ Midnight Universe is the most hotly anticipated comics launch of the year, and a month ahead of the debut, Marvel offers another look into the new line with a trailer.

On October 7th, Marvel Comics fans will get a look at the darkest universe in the multiverse to date. Written by some of Marvel’s biggest stars and drawn by up and coming artists, the series will give glimpses into horrific twists on the Marvel Universe we all know and love.

What if the X-Men were soldiers in a war between mortals and vampires?

What if the Fantastic Four were empowered by a cosmic terror beyond comprehension?

In Midnight Spider-Man from Phillip Kennedy Johnson and Scietronic, Peter Parker’s radioactive spider bite does more than give him the proportional strength and speed of a spider turning him into something much more frightening. In Midnight Fantastic Four from Benjamin Percy and Kev Walker, Reed Richards’ pursuit of knowledge leads four explorers into a horrific cosmic transformation. And in Jonathan Hickman and Matteo Della Fonte’s Midnight X-Men, mutants are no longer the most hated and feared race on the planet, as vampires have conquered the world.
