It’s only fair that Sonja also get a holiday.
Earlier today, Dynamite announced plans for the Vampirella Helliday Special. Now, it’s time for the company’s other legendary character to get a winter special of her own. The Red Sonja Solstice Special sees writer Torunn Grønbekk reunite with Sonja. Joining her for this tale on art is Edson.
Continuing on from Grønbekk’s previous run on Red Sonja, it’s midwinter and people across the realm are enjoying holidays, feasts, and other celebration. The She-Devil with a Sword is rich with gold at the moment and ready to join the revels. But the party train leads her to a “cursed village, with demons, slaughter, and carnage in its wake.” Will the situation take the fun out of the holidays or will battling a unholy horde turn out to be the ultimate solstice blow-out?
